my question is about the advanced parolle
when exactly do I have to aply for it , is it at the same time as the I 129 or at the consulate interview
my other question is ,
if I dont aply for it ,when would I be able to go back to canada to visit my growen kids ,
would that be after the 3 month stay in the us ( upon arrival on the K 1 visa after the marriage ) ,
or do I have to waite to become conditional permanent resident in the us ? whats the timeframe without the advanced parolle aplication to be able to travel again out of US ?
any help and answers would be apriciated thanks , Lona

You can only apply for AP after you have filed for AOS, which cannot happen until you have entered the US and married within the 90 day window allowable on the K1. Once AP is applied for and approved you can use it to reenter the US. AP takes about 2 months typically. The K1 is a one time entry. You cannot leave the US without the AP, there is no 3 month wait before you can leave as you stated.

If you got married the day you arrive in the US, you could theoretically file AOS and AP the same day. You can leave the US anytime you wish. Re-entry is the issue. I suspect if you inquire in the Canada Regional Forum you'll find Canadians don't really need AP to re-enter the US, but check first.

Not without AP - that goes for any country. To leave the US after entering on a K1, marrying and filing AOS without having AP in hand would be abandoning your AOS and you would not be allowed back in. At this point one would have to file K3 and start over.
