the fee's for the work permit are doubling but the EAD doesn't seem to be going up or did I miss read ?

The EAD is a work permit. Under the new filing fees it is included with AOS/AP.
The EAD is your work permit, unless you got the stamp by going through JFK. The fee is going up to something like $320 for EAD in July but if I understand correctly, filing for AOS at that time (July) will cover AOS, EAD and AP all with the $1000+ dollar filing fee.

Yea I got my names/abbr wrong.. I need to file for the Green card and work permit... Can I file for the work permit first since the Green Card doesn't seem to be going up in fee or do I have that wrong too..
coming up with $1000 with only me working is near impossible.. the $500 plus now is hard enough but doable,..

you, as a K1 need to show proof of applying for AOS in order to apply for the EAD. sending both in the same package is proof.
