In anticipation of our final interview which I suspect will happen no later than the end of July, I sent off for my husband's police clearance cert and received the all-clear on April 26, 2007. It was addressed to our old house.

We've sold our house since then and have moved back in with my father-in-law before the big move to the U.S.

My question is, will we have to reapply for a new cert to reflect our current address?

Where we're living now with my father-in-law is listed on the police cert as one of my husband's previous addresses. Do you think US Embassies are so particular that they will insist on a new one being issued even though my husband used to live where we're living now?

Does my post make sense? laughing.gif

By the time we have our final interview, the police cert will be about 3 months old.

Thanks for any input.

The police certificate is good for one year in the eyes of the US embassy and at the time it was issued all the information was correct, so I'm quite confident that's perfectly fine. The point of the certificate is to show that your husband doesn't have a criminal record not to prove where he's been living. smile.gif
