I picked up my wife's Schengen tourist visa from the Italian Embassy last week.
We noticed that instead of using the photo she gave them with the visa application, they scanned the photo from her passport photo page instead.
Is that normal? Or did they not like the photo she gave them for some reason?

This is the same Embassy that refused to issue the visa in my wife's married name even though her passport was amended by the Embassy of the Philippines to show her married name.
IS it that they want the phofo and name on the visa and passport photo page to be an exact match?
