Guys, you will not believe what happened! We called to CSC asking what is going on with our petition, as it wasn’t touch at all after they gave us NOA-1 in March. A lady told my Fiancé that now they are dealing only with November filers. It is OK, as we know this is wrong information. November filers! laughing.gif … but please listen what happened after… she told that she can see our petition in their system, and it will be approved as soon as US Embassy in Kazakhstan will confirm that they have place for me in their annual allocated Fiancée visas list!!! But added that there are not many Kazakhstani Fiancée visa filers so it shouldn’t be a problem. So we decided to call to US Embassy in Kazakhstan asking when they will confirm that they have a place for me, and guess what they told me- they never heard about this list, and they never deal will petitions till it was proved and send them via NVC!!! And that this lade gave us WRONG INFORMATION!!!

Can you imagine? huh.gif

Checked again on USCIS web-site, and saw that our petition still wasn’t touch at all from NOA-1… and how they can say that our petition is almost aproved when they didn’t touch it at all???? unsure.gif

'Elmira,

Getting wrong or misguided information is nothing new - First, when they told you they're working on petitions from November - this is a standard answer, they will report the oldest petitions they are working on - it's neither wrong or right. Second - touches don't mean 'that' much - as long as you have your NOA1, and are on track with your timeline - which I see you're approximate adjudication date is July - you're OK.

There is really no reason to call and get worked up - it will come when it comes.

I know it's easier to say than to do, but relax...you've got a bit longer to go...and don't worry about the misguided nugget of information...

I hope this helps in some way... good.gif

OK, I agree that we have plenty time, but if people got approval with NOA-1 received later you received yours, it is sounds strange… but anyway we are happy for these people smile.gif…… but when people, calling themselves professional, give you wrong information I think it is not right… when you call US Embassy and they laugh saying “please call them again and tell that they give you a wrong information”… We think everyone should be responsible for their own words… and we still hope to receive NOA-2 in June smile.gif

and you think we there was really no reason to call? Why we can't call and ask? wink.gif

Every case is different. It is not helpful to you to try to compare your case to others. Even the timeslines on VJ are only estimates. The USCIS processing times are not useful since, as stated, they show they oldest case still unapproved.

Not it's not right that you were given misinformation but this is normal with USCIS. For that reason, it's not really worth it to call, especially when you are within normal timing.

The embassy will never have information about your case BEFORE it has been approved or BEFORE it has passed through the National Visa Center since they would have no way to receive that information.

The best advice was already given to you -- relax...you've got a bit longer to go...and don't worry about the misguided nugget of information...

Thank you very much for your reply, as it was very supportive smile.gif I agree we still have time to wait smile.gif But the problem is sometimes they don't update information on USCIS website unsure.gif and people recieve envelopes from NVC or Embassy saying "we recieved your approved petition" smile.gif when USCIS web-site says your petition is pending blush.gif
We decided to call them in 3 weeks if we don't hear anything... but probably my Fiance will call them tomorrow asking why they gave wrong information... or may be we don't need to argue with them as if we make them mad who know what they will do with our petition blush.gif

Elmira, it has only been two months since your NOA1 date. There is no reason to be concerned if your case status is not updated yet. There is no reason to call them to ask why they gave wrong information - it happens everyday and you will not reach the same operator. They cannot get mad and do something with your petition - they are only a call center. But there is really no reason to call.

Sit back, relax and your approval will come. AFTER your approval, you will receive information from the NVC - not before then.
