Hello VJs,

Today I have my interview in Guayaquil-Ecuador. First the lady asked me for the papers, i prepared a nice folder well organized but she told me to give it paper by paper since the window was so small that the binder could not pass!
Then she asked me if I overstayed any previous visit to the US (i did not innocent.gif ) and if for us was going to be the first marriage and if we have or not kids. She took only four pay roles, the W2 and 1040 and give me back the letter from the bank and the employer. And when it came to the evidence i gave her first a group (that just by coincidence was before we got engaged) and when i wanted to give her the next group she told me that it was enough!
Then after some time the Consul called me and asked me:
- how long was my longest stay in the U.S.
- if i have lived in another country
- how long i stayed in U.K. (I still do not have any idea why they care about U.K! blink.gif )
- how we met
- if for us was going to be the first marriage.

She had the pictures we sent in the I-129 package apart and she look at them giving me back at the same time, she hardly took a glance to the evidence i gave and she gave me back almost without looking at them.

Then she told me that i was going to be approved and to go and pay in DHL for the delivery.
It was really easy, at some point i was a little dissapointed for having prepared the binder and the evidence and they do not care. Even when she asked me the questions she was not very interested on the answers, mostly she put attention to my visits to the U.S.

Now i am waiting for my visa printed in my passport and in my hand! good.gif

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And imagine how you would feel if she asked for a document that you didn't have? You would not have been approved for the visa. Don't begrudge your good work!! You did a great job and soon you'll have the visa to prove it (and a great future ahead)!! All the best to you both!
