Soooo....

I received my NOA1, but never heard anything more from them.... In fact, according to the USCIS, my case has not been updated since the last touch on 5/8/07 yet I received a letter today mailed on 5/24 (from the NVC) saying that they had received the approved I-129F and would be sending it to Bangkok within the week.... so.... I am very happy that I have been approved so far, yet confused why the website was not updated and why I never got an NOA2. One better, I have the email confirmation of my address change from the USCIS, yet the NVC letter went to my old address... oh well.... I am still happy. smile.gif

I am in the same situation, as are a few of us. i am sure we should get out hard copy NOA-2'S at some point.

Seems like California forgot to send the paperwork out - I got a letter from NVC today dated May 21st.

Well, doesn't matter now if I get the NOA2 -- it should be smooth sailing from here on. I followed the Guides from here so am not anticioating any trouble.

You WILL need NOA2 to adjust status, I would call USCIS and inquire about it.

hi ya all
congrats on the approvals..but make sure if your going the K1 route you do get a copy of your NOA2 approval notice... why? because you need to send a copy of the NOA2 for the AOS part of your journey...

good luck and i hope your notices arrive for you..

take care

Its fairly common for those of us approved in early to mid May. Its 30 days for me Thursday so I'll be calling tomorrow or Thurs. Let you know how it goes. Just dont ignore it, as previously stated you WILL need it and replacement copies cost $$.

Congratulations !

Why USCIS do these things? For example today we called to CSC asking what is going on with our petition, as it wasn’t touch at all after they gave us NOA-1 in March. A lady told my Fiancé that she can see our petition in their system, and it will be approved as soon as US Embassy in Kazakhstan will confirm that they have place for me in their annual allocated Fiancée visas list!!! But added that there are not many Kazakhstani Fiancée visa filers so it shouldn’t be a problem. So we decided to call to US Embassy in Kazakhstan asking when they will confirm that they have a place for me, and guess what they told me- they never heard about this list, and they never deal will petitions till it was proved and send them via NVC!!!

So I guess they confuse themelves smile.gif

But anyway... Congratulations! blush.gif

Good luck on that. I have called three times and all I talk to are know-nothing fools. In the mean time, our case has made it to Manila. Today I faxed my one of my Senators today in hopes he can help. I am starting to get concerned about Joan getting an interview date and not having the NOA2.
