Hi my fellow Visa Journey'ers I was looking for a cheap ticket to Nigeria this summer and need your help. Is there any websites that you all know of that the tickets are reasonable, I'm thinking in the ballpark of $1000-1200. I have not seen my husband in 5 months and times are getting hard . If there is anyone out there that can offer an assistance of any kind. I am open to all suggestions. As always I thank you in advance and welcome all comments. I wouldnt count on that price for this summer but try cheapair.com. Goodluck and have a safe trip. My fiancee and myself use it each time we book our naija flights.

I've checked out cheapair too and they seemed to have reasonable prices when I went about this same time last year. Depending on where you live, you can get good prices from New york Washington, or Boston...check this site out...www.bt-store.com/ .

Yep, bt-store is pretty good. Used them a couple times.
1200-1500 ticket prices are more atypical to the low season (Late Dec.-March)
Summer being the busiest travel season means inflated airfares--- Good luck and let us know what kind of deal you strike!

I just checked today for a direct flight from Lagos to New York and came up with flying North American Airlines for the cost of $1266. The flight takes only 11 hours. But this was for a flight one-way. But you can still search their site for a round-trip ticket if you need it.

I just checked Delta -- Phoenix to Lagos and the fare was $2086, not bad, Delta all the way through Paris.

OK, the Delta price was round trip, might be worthwhile to check one way too.

I saw $920.00 for Lagos to JKF in September....on North American Airlines.
