Hi vj this ma first time of posting on this african section, ma baby interview is coming up next week, through malaysia consulate though we're all both from nigeria, My question is has any body been through a foreign embassy on this process before? I do hope they will not treat him different being that his not from there, he has been there for almost 3yrs and he abt to graduate , so what the chances for non residence to aobtain this kind of visa, they US department told me there no prob since its nonimmigrant visa but in case of anythin what should i do? abeg make una help ur sista plz. any input would be much appreciated.!

Though I didn't do this myself, I've read many others who are doing the same thing (going through a third country). It doesn't seem all that unusual.

My husband had his K1 interview in South Africa. He's from Nigeria. His interview was very smooth and they treated him very fairly. However, there was a Nigerian going through Nepal and that did not go very well. I think the main thing is how is the embassy in general. (tough vs. easy). Best wishes to for your interview!
