One more question's just popped up!! I've been married to my husband since my kid was 17 (that's according to the ruel- married before the kid reach the age of 18). We want to get a R-1/CR-1 for her to go live with us in The States. At present, she doesn't live with us but live in her native country. FYI, my husband and I live overseas (different from hers) together.
And I do DCF. Does she have to wait for quotas? Thank you for your help .

...and you are USC or PR? Have you checked the rules for DCF in the country where your daughter lives?

I am not sure - DCF requires residency in the jurisdiction where it's filed... for both petitioner and beneficiary. Check with your Consulate - good luck!
