Yikes

Sounds like you were originally a January filer, yet the petition never got to CSC until March. mmmm You should be getting a NOA2 or something within a month.

I'd look into getting a congressman to follow up on your petition

So your NOA1 date is March 6th? Enter it into your timeline on here and you will see the estimated approval date at the end bottom. Good luck!

Still Waiting57,

This is very unfortunate.
  • Are you saying the Petition was returned because of a wrong address?
  • Did your fiancé mail it back, then call?
  • Did you/your-fiancé receive a NOA (Notice of Action) I-797 indicating your case is now pending? (I would assume so, since you now have a 'WAC' number.
It sounds like (assuming the above is how it went) that you guys are now March filers - if you update your Time-Line to indicate your NOA1 date, you'll get a pretty good idea of how long it should take until your case is adjudicated (it's not 100% accurate, but usually pretty close). I think the average is 90-100 days from NOA1 to NOA2 (give or take).

Had things gone correctly from the start - you'd likely be at or past the NOA2 stage by now...

Wow, that is so weird. How could you have a case # if they never got the petition? Stupid CSC.
