Hello all
I am on an H1-B and applying for AOS after marriage. I plan to start school next year in September. I am wondering if my green card does not come in time, can I use my EAD to go to school? Obviously with my AOS pending I cannot get an F1 visa. I dont care about residency requirements for tuition etc. all fo those are irrelevant for my purposes, I am only wondering whteher USCIS/DHS will have a problem with going to school without the GC but the EAD. Thanks

An EAD gives you permission to work. Either you use it, or you don't. It has no relationship to being a student.
The only thing you need to know is if your current status allows you to attend school. If you are adjusting your status to that of a spouse of a USC and waiting for your green card, I can't see why you couldn't attend school, but I woudl start by checking the school's requirements.

Yes check with the school.... Here they told me that I need my Green Card to attend school if not here on a student visa.
