Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I'll be traveling to another state by airplane soon now the question is: Will it be a problem to do so while my AOS is still in progress? The only photo identification I have right now is my passport.

Does anybody has ever done this before?

Thanks! yes.gif

You will be fine...they just need identification.

Yep, no need to go through immigration when you are travelling internally so your passport will do just fine!

You can travel state to state with just a driver licence... or your passport.
If i were you I will get a driver licence or identification card from your state... kicking.gif

As long as your airline ticket and your passport have the same name... No Problems to travel.

Also, no problems traveling anywhere in the U.S. while AOS is in progress

Thank you Steph1010, Ladybutterfly, Rejane, Jasman0717 (how's Claudeth?) & MandR for your response. biggrin.gif

Yeah my tickets are in my maiden name, which is the same as my passport. Actually, I'm going to the Indonesian Embassy in Houston, TX to change my name. Hmm...so will that bring another problem for my return trip?

You've been great!

Just make sure you take a copy of your marriage certificate, which will explain why you have tickets in your maiden name, and a passport amended to show your married name.
