CSC Cashed my check, NOA1 is MIA

So far got our NOA1 and a touch....

I sent my I-129F packet out April 26th to the Nebraska Service center with confirmation that it was received April 28th, and still, over 30 days later, I have nothing to show for it. The site clearly states to call them if it has been over 30 days and nothing has happened. I called the 800 number this morning, explained the situation, and the reply I was given was, “Well, I’ve seen these take up to 60 days to get started, but if you don’t hear anything by then, write a letter.” Unfortunately, the reply came as a shock and I didn’t know what to say at the time. I will be calling again to be a little more firm to get some answers. I was wondering how the other late April and early May filers were doing and if they’ve gotten similar responses.

Kim, did you pay the filing fee by check? If so, did it clear yet? If it did clear, check the back of the check for a WAC######### number. You can use that to track your case online.

I paid by check and no, it has not cleared. I called and tried to get answers, but got nowhere. All I know is that, according to USPS, it got there April 28th.

Ours was received by NSC on 25th April, we found out that the cheque was cashed on 23rd May and when we got the number off the back and checked the status online we found that the Notice date was 21st May so yours should be soon now.

I called again today and got a different person, and unlike the first person I got, she just typed in my name, birthdate, and then Fred's name and birthdate and was able to pull up a receipt number! So, anyone else who hasn't been getting anywhere, insist that they at least check your name!!! Don't let them try to make you go away with vague answers!
