to check your case status go to uscis.gov and then go to processing times you will click on the box where your petition is at and it will show you the processing times of all petitions.
All you need is your receipt number from your NOA1 to get your case status online:

And once you've done that, please be advised that the information is virtually meaningless. You can get your case status at the link you see in the second reply to your question.
