My husband arrived here over two years ago on a Fiance' visa. In addition, to filing for him I also filed for his sister who he had been taking care of. However, she never came to the USA. I am now learning that she has since had a child, is in a bad relationship and would like to now come to the USA. Ironically, my relationship with my husband is on 'shaking grounds', to say the least. Thus I would like to find out if the visa initially reserved for her (over two years ago) still valid?

As Yodrak said, you must state the situation more clearly.
For an example, what kind of category you filed for sister-in-law ?
I know US Citizen can file for their spouse, parents, childrens, and brothers/sisters, but not for in-law family.
Did you receive any official "approval notice" ?
Do you have the case number assigned from National Visa Center other than US CIS?
