I recieved my greencard nearly two months ago and i'm still not in the SAVE database as of today. Social security haven't issued me a SSN yet as they are still waiting for manual verification from USCIS and the CA DMV today told me it could take nearly a year to verify my greencard because I wasn't in the SAVE system!
When did you apply for the SSN? The procedure since January is to do an inital query of SAVE, if that is no good, they now do a secondary electronic request. If that is still no good the application is denied. However, in some cases immigration requests to see copies of your documents and that's when the manual verification is done through sending the G-845 and copies of your documents.
The initial SAVE verification can fail for reasons other than your info not having been entered. Your date of birth could be wrong or your name could be misspelled (allowing for one letter to be off) and those are supposed to be ponted out on the secondary request.
If you haven't done so you need to go back into the office with your documents to see what has been done. Make sure the secondary request was made and has a response been received. If copies of your documents have been requested, has the G-845 been sent and if yes, has it come back.
Secondary request is supposed to be receive within 15 days and the G-845 reponse is supposed to be received in 20 days and these are business days.
