I was wondering if anybody can answer some questions for me


I file my I-129f with texas and then sent to Calif jan 31 07 and touched on feb 2 07 and nothing since. I see people who have filed in march from fla and there fiancee is from the philippines too and they are aproved and I'm still waiting. Why? and is it because i filed a I 129f in june of 04 and was approved. My gf at that time went to here interview passed that and then failed her medical. We broke up and 8 months later i met my new gf cyril june 28 05 and been together since. If you have any guess why its taken long please let us know thank you 4 your time

I know it's frustrating waiting. I would also recommend calling, since a lot of February filers are getting their NOA2s.

I don't think it has anything to do with your previous petition, or the fact that your fiance is from the Philippines. The fact that it hasn't been touched since your NOA1 just means it's being neglected! Nobody's looked at it yet.

I tried calling and the lady was verynice and said they are only working on Nov 13 06 rigth now. I did tell her I am seeing people who file after me getting approvels and i am still waiting. She just said every case is done on a case to case basis..

Thomas&Cyril...patience my friend...i know its hard to wait...but our timelines are very similar...so maybe they are working on it right now...btw...some people get approvals without a single touch...and some get 50 touches...lol its all dependent on CSC and what kind of mood they are in (hopefully a "let's go approval stamp crazy mood"...hopefully you will hear something soon take care

Also customer service won't be able to tell you anything, since they aparently dont see anything except what we see when we check online. What I did to talk to someone with answers was call USCIS and follow the prompts for request for more evidence. Or try calling the NVC. Though without touches, you might still be in a pile somewhere Good luck!

I wouldn't since your case hasn't been touched. I know several ppl have been calling to see if there petition has been approved, but if they continue to get these calls then that "outlet" will be terminated. Try to wait awhile and see what happens. If you get touched again then I would suggest you calling then.

Call this number and use your receipt number from your petition to see if NVC has received your case and assigned a number. If they have received it, you can obtain your case number and if they have not recived it, then you will be told by the automated message that they have no record of it and it is still at CSC

I would definitely suggest calling, and then following up with them somewhat frequently if they can't give you accurate case status information. Don't worry about getting on their nerves. However, do keep in mind that they have a large case load and sometimes it takes a while - plus it's the govt. so that will already slow things down quite a bit Don't forget though, they are providing a service. You have every right to be requesting this service, and you are paying for it on all levels. If you feel they are not providing you with satisfactory service, then talk to as many people as you need to in order to get your questions answered. Every time I have talked to them, they seem generally interested in helping and have always done something to help remedy whatever the issue was.

We never even got our NOA2. We just eventually got a letter from the Visa Center. Work that one out lol...
