Hello Guys,

Our petitions, both I-130 & I-129F, were approved last May 21, 2007 at the California Service Center. I called NVC just a while ago and I learned that ,they did not receive my approved I-129F yet.

I am crossing my fingers that it will be sent to the US Embassy in Manila soon.

Any of you with the same timeline as mine...let's us share our experiences...

NIce to see you here. I haven't even called yet, although my NOA2 were on 5-16. The website still hasn't updated my status, nor do I have the NOA2 in my hands. Just words from a nice woman at CSC.

You can call the NVC with your receipt # at any time and use the automated system to see if they received it.

Hi there, pal!

I don't have our NOA2 hardcopy yet, but I am just too excited and overwhelm how the process is getting fast now, so I called them. Just trying my luck.

I want to do it too. I mean, doing the automated way because I am ashamed that they may notice it that I call almost everyday to check. But I always end up talking to a live person. wacko.gif

We got our email approval for the NOA2 on May 9th and it left NVC for Manila on May 23rd. We had to call NVC to get 0ur case number and found out it was shipping that day. Good luck to you seems that yours should be close behind! good.gif

I cld and was told my case was recv'd on 5/21. The rep told me the case # can be assigned anywhere up to 90 days.

I just got my NOA2 yesterday so I can join new threads! I will wait until Friday next week to call NVC.

I read some where that NVC updates the IVR system every Monday. I normally call every night before I go to sleep.
island_princess
So what's with the Tuesday thing? I thought, Tuesday is when the major transactions are done.

BTW, Congrats to FutureMrs. At last, you are joining us.TC.

Mono, what is the number sequence you dial when you call? I may follow it.
Matt and Chandra
We're in this boat, too, received our NOA-2 on May 22 and they mailed it on May 23. I called yesterday (way too soon, really...), but it hadn't arrived yet.

As for it being shipped off from NVC for the embassy/consulate in question, don't they have to receive the I-864/DS3032 as well as paying the IV bill, et al?

It does seem like CSC has been getting busy with these, there've been a bunch of approvals on this board.

Peace,

Matt & Chandra
island_princess
As of May 26, our approved petition is not yet received by NVC.
Eddie&Mary
I was approved on May 23rd . I guess it maybe too early to call NVC on Tuesday the 29th, but I am so anxious, nervous, curious, frustrated, worried, uneasy, restless, aggravated, irritated, upset, bothered, discouraged, and bored, that I will call anyway! laughing.gif

I will keep you informed!!!! whistling.gif

feels like I am thining aloud. LOL! Same feelings here...

I'll email NVC later this week. Based on fellow VJ'ers, it usually takes 15 days from NOA2 to NVC receipt. *crossing my fingers*
Eddie&Mary
Is it better to email or call? Where do you get their email address? I was hoping they would have it this week and it would only be there for a couple of days. I was so worried about the NOA2, that I did not pay too much attention to the NVC part.

They make updates every Monday but it reflects the IVR systems on Tuesdays. You can call during the week but you will need to speak to a rep for updated info.

Yes all that needs to be done FIRST if you are pursing the CR-1 visa. However, if you are going with the K-3 then no it gets sent directly to the Embassy/Consulate.

Either. I emailed them and I got a response in 2 days. You can email them at NVCInquiry@state.gov.

Thanks for the info, and I will send out an email. I know it is wishful thinking that they have info for me, but one never knows.

You can email them at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

Even if it's too soon for you to inquire, an email (or even a call) will not hurt.

I am going to give them a call later on today. You are right in that it does not hurt to try. I will also send them an email. The worst thing they can tell me is that they do not have it yet.I'll keep you informed!!!!
NotMrs
I know mine is not at the NVC yet as I received a touch on the 25th and one today. The more time I have to get the last things I need the better! lol

I still don't have my NOA2, and the USCIS website doesn't show that I'm approved. A USCIS person though told me that I was approved on 16 May. Last week, I emailed NVC.

Today I got an email from them saying that they have the petition and are in the process of assigning it a number!

I guess the reason I don't have my NOA2 is since USCIS has announced that CSC won't be current in sending notices out for I-130s until 15 June. I'm guessing that my I-129F NOA2 is held up since the I-130 NOA2 is held up.
Eddie&Mary
I guess it takes anywhere from 10-15 days for the packet to go from CSC to NVC. I have seen that people have seen their packet stay in NVC for 2 or 3 days. Is that correct?

I was also approved on 5/16 & I recv'd my NOA2 in the mail. I cld NVC last night and my case # was assigned. Hopefully you will hear something soon. Try calling back and talking to a live person. I did that b/c the IVR system said my case hasn't been recv'd, but this morning it confirmed what the rep said to me last night.

I was approved on May 23rd and I'm also waiting to see when our case will arrive at NVC. I will call them tonight.

I called NVC yesterday, and was told that they received our approved petition on May 29. Thanks God!!

I hope, it will be forwarded to the embassy within the week too.

Yup, NVC has my case and a live person told me last night that they've assigned it a MOS number.

They got it yesterday, and say it takes typically 2-4 weeks before they send it on. Based on VJ averages, I think they are padding that number. I might call next week, and definitely by sometime around 10 June, to see if it has gone on to Moscow.

I stlll *don't* have my NOA2 from CSC and, last time I checked, the website did not acknowledge our approval.

Congrats to you! I have yet to get the hard copy of the NOA2 from CSC. I called NVC today to give them a change of address, and the lady told me "You called in the nick of time". I did not ask her to elaborate, but I assume it is going out very soon. I will call on Friday and ask if it went out. I have seen people that have it listed as 2 days at NVC, before going out. I hope it is the same for me!!

Just to update my fellow MAY approvals, I called and received an email, that my package was sent out to Manila today. This is truely going faster than expected. To think I filed 85 days ago, and I have reached this stage is shocking. I am just happy I have all of you here to share the journey with. smile.gif

I have been trying to call NVC since last night (Phil time), but I can not get through. Too many callers. Too congested.

After NVC the package is sent down to Manila. There they will assign us an appointment date. I am thinkikng that since it is thursday here, and friday there, the package will get there on Monday or Tuesday. I will probably start to check for an appointment on the embassy website on Tuesday evening. The best time to call them (your time) would be after 7:00am. Everytime I talk to them, I always get through. Good Luck and keep us informed!!!!

Thanks!!!

I would say that you should check. I would call, the automated telephone answering system does not have my case and did not recognize my WAC# or my MNL#. It is only when I talked to a person that I was able to get answers. I had called them whileI was stuck in traffic on the 60 around 3:45pm. But definately call, you do not lose anything by calling, AND THEY ARE BETTER TO TALK TO THAN THE USCIS People. GOOD LUCK!! good.gif

Keep us informed!!!

I read somewhere in this forum that non-immigrant petitions are not encoded in the automated system. It goes directly to the embassy of its jurisdiction.

They aren't in the automated system, but if you call and speak to a human, they can tell you if your case has been received/shipped to the embassy. The K1s don't generally stay there long enough to get put into the system - just a few days.

So...yet again, waiting on CSC to do something - just MAIL the stinkin' things already!!
