Hi All,

Firstly let me just say this site has been awsome. I've gaind a lot of valuable information, as well as friends and support. Without this community, I'm not sure I would have made it through this 9 month journey.

Well my wife had her interview today (24th May) at the Mumbai consulate in India.

She arrived at the consulate at 7am for a 7.30 interview. After she got inside the consulate, she didn't have to wait too long at all. She was out by 9.30am!

When she called me, I was really nervous, my heart rate went through the roof! I seriously thought somethiing terriable had happend since I was not expecting her to call so early. Then I heard the 3 most beautiful words to ever come out of her mouth... "We got it"

I still couldn' believe it. She said that the consulate office only had her 5 questions.

1) Who is sponsoring you, what is his name?
2) Where did you meet?
3) Does he have any brothers/sisters and where do they live
4) What does your husbad to for a living
5) When did you meet your husband last - her answer to that question was "on the webcam" laughing.gif .. the CO laughed.. and clarified.. when did you meet him in person last? She said at the airport

He then asked to see some pictures, looked at only 2, and said that's fine, and then said, you'll not have to wait much longer to see your husband in person.. you are approved!

She picked up her passport and visa later that day!

I still can't believe it was that easy! kicking.gif kicking.gif I am just over the moon right now! She'll be flying to the USA on june 2nd.. just a little over a week away

Again, thank you everyone.. you guys have been great througout!
