I'm going to submit my I 130 to usa embassy in Abu dhabi,
1.should I make an appointment? my husband says I don't need too.
2. When I submit I 130, I have to submit g-325A & DS 230 also personal document(like passport, birth certificate, marriage cert). what other document do I have to submit in that time?
3. Should I take my medical exam now or later?
Thank you

You will need:
-form I-130
-a copy of USC's birth certificate
-a copy of USC's passport
-form G-325A for USC
-form G-325A for spouse
-copy of your marriage certificate
-copy of spouse's passport
-a passport-style photo of USC
-a passport-style photo of your spouse
-proof of residency
-$190.00
Medical exam is good usually for 6 months so you have to be sure you'll have the interview soon.
DS-230 part one you will receive it at the Embassy.
No need for an appointment.

Thanks

you, you mean the foreign spouse? The foreign spouse's passport must be at least 6 months valid in the moment when the visa will be issued.

And Boing, you may want to change your profile info from k3 in DCF.

I'm the foreign spouse, Thank you for your response.
So I don't have to change my passport when I submit I 130, just wait till the embassy will issue my visa.
Sorry, keep asking my english isn't very good
Thanks

look when your passport expires.....take out 6 months....see if you think your interview will be before that date....if yes, you are ok, if not , you have to change it. you can start with the one you have and you can change it during the process.

Boing, if you are doing DCF, your USC spouse needs to be a legal resident of where you are filling and go with you when you file the I-130. Just a reminder. Check with your consulate for residency requirements - better safe than sorry. If your spouse is not a resident, you maynot be able to DCF and would have to go the USCIS route. Call the consulate would be my guess here - and get a new passport - what the other posters said is true.
As per the medical, don't bother just yet - that comes much later in the process.
L.
Also check instructions from the USCIS website regarding things or forms to attach. I understand they changed some things since february - see that you have the latest version of I-130 and all other forms.
