I got a letter in the mail today from the State Department Visa Center saying that they have received an approved I129f petition file on behalf of my fiance. It's been a long time coming...

But you need that NOA2 document from CSC -- maybe you should ask your Congressman to help shake it loose. Others here have had that problem and written nag notes to USCIS. Don't ignore the AWOL NOA2!

Congratulations!!! Wow it makes you wonder what happened to the cases that just lay around for 6 or 7 months? When they change that date on the web site that says they're now processing cases from blah blah blah date, that's some catalyst that makes them clean the cobwebs off the old cases?At any rate, I hope the rest of your process goes smoothly and QUICKLY!

I just called USCIS and they told me that I was approved on May 7 but the system was having problems and did not send out a notice. The crazy part is, I called customer service 3 times before I received the notice and they all told me my case was still pending.
I'm not sure if you guys know that Lockheed Martin won the customer service contract about 8 months ago. I know this because my coworkers wife just got a job working for them here in Albuquerque. So who knows who is screwing up around there.
