Hey everyone

New kid on the block. I am a March 1 K-1 and have not heard anything since that time from CSC. No request for more info, no touches, nothing. I noticed that others later than March 1 are beginning to get approvals. Is checking the USCIS case status a waste of my time?

Is there someway to make contact with a real person to check my status.

I am leaving for Peru a week from tomorrow and was hoping I would have the NOA2 by then. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kil helpsmilie.gif

Did you receive a NOA1? Plz update your timeline so we can understand more about your process.

CSC can take anywhere from 2 months to 6 months to approve a petition, it all depends on things like name checks.

You can call the national customer service number but they will only be able to tell you what you can get from USCIS website when you check case status there, not until your case goes past the processing dates posted on USCIS website by 30 days or so will the operator will check more into status, and then they usually tell you to check back in 30 days.

Touch dont really mean much except movement of case file. Sometimes in past it has been noted cases were approved but not updated in computer. After the"normal" time frame has gone past i believe you can call but it might just take a while longer....

Sorry. You must have received your NOA1 'cause you are checking at USCIS website.

No worries yet.......March filer thru CSC.........Some January, many Feb filers have not been touched. Me, Feb. 2nd, no touches yet. I am getting good at patience and bad at patience. I hope yours comes soon, but you may have a bit of a wait ahead of you yet. Hang in there, every day that goes by is one day closer. I have given up on checking the USCIS site daily, now, once a week. It is a bit painful to see all the approvals and mine not changing. My time will come and so will yours. Oh, yeah, me first though.LOL>LOL.
