they told me to get the i 134 and supporting documents like w2 forms, engagement pics, fone and chat records etc to the interview.....although i insisted they take atleast i 134 ..they did not take it and told me to get all of it at the interview...
i double checked by calling them..and they said its fine...
can anyone tell me if its gonna be a problem during the interview day, if i carry these papers along....?????????????
we r just a little worried...

My wife interviewed for her K1 at Mumbai, but that was a long time ago. Back then K1s didnt have to deal with VFS at all. We did, however, have to send back Packet 3 prior to the interview date...and that did not include the I-134+supporting docs.

About your birth certificate: they used to ask that a magistrates order accompany BC's that were registered late. I don't know if they still do or not. In Mumbai it all depends on the individual people you end up dealing with. Some are harda$$es and some are not. Beshi chinta korte hobe na, BC nie jhamela korle they will give you a chance to rectify it.

Good luck.

You are fine.

What ever VFS did not take that was on the check list, take with you to the interview. If/When they ask for it, show it to them

Good luck with the interview.

Just from my experience, my guy did not even have his birth certificate, he only had a caste certificate made about 6-7 years after his birth, that was enough and nothing else was requested at the Hyderabad VFS or in Chennai interview.

Mumbai is better than Delhi, which seems to be causing a lot of people troubles lately. Last few VJ members from Mumbai all got their visas, I believe.
