Hey all,
I'm wondering will they not approve the application if the american does not have a high paying job? I mean, not having a lot of savings etc. Thanks

USCIS is not concerned with finances when it comes to the petition - there is no part of the initial petition that requests financial information of the USC.

At the interview, it's a whole different story. The petitioner is required to prove that the beneficiary will not become a public charge - and that means proving that you make above the poverty line for your household size. This happens at the interview stage as well as at the Adjustment of Status stage in the US. Review the affidavit of support requirements for your consulate and the poverty guidelines for a better understanding.

if the USC's earnings aren't enough, you'll have to find a co-sponsor, that's all
