If anyone has insite on I-601's backlogg for I-R1 visas enter time line to help each other. Any approvals would be incouraging.

Nicole, the timeline doesn't differ based on the type of visa. I have been waiting 10 days longer than you for a K1 waiver. As I posted before, right now all resources are focused on adjudication of pilot program waivers. But the Director of DHS in CDJ has said publicly that he is working on a plan to adjudicate everything in the backlog as fast as possible - his goal is to have the backlog cleared out within 120 days of starting a new program. The problem is, he has not announced when that program will actually begin. If it starts in June, our best hope is that they will finish with our waiver (and yours) before September of this year. That means we will end up having waiting close to an entire year once the visa pick up date is assigned. If we get really lucky, we'll be adjudicated earlier than 4 months after the program starts.

If you read the offical notice about the pilot program (here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry866443) the bottom says "USCIS has also taken steps to eliminate the current I-601 waiver backlog by proving the Cd. Juarez field office with additional resources. Those immigrants that have pending I-601 waivers with the Cd. Juarez field office will be notified via mail of their decision."

For now, that is all the information that is available. But keep an eye on www.immigrate2us.net and the 601 forum and posts by attorney Laurel Scott - she has a direct connection to the Director at CDJ and periodically posts any updates.
