goofy.gif I totally forgot about this. My step-son was 18 when he moved here and just recently had his 19th birthday. AOS is in process and he and his dad's interview date is April 13th in Atlanta. We are STILL waiting on my step-son's social security card. So, is my step-son supposed to register for the draft immediately? Does he have to have his SS card/number first? Does have had to have his green card first? Thanks. goofy.gif

If you are an immigrant male (documented or undocumented) living in the United States, age 18 through 25, you are required to register. You may submit your registration to the Selective Service by filling out the form below and clicking on “Submit.” Non-immigrant males living in the United States on a valid visa are NOT required to register.

goofy.gif Thank you Flipside. I should have known these days (almost) everything can be done via Internet. I will have my step-son fill this out when I get home. I wonder it he can do it without a SS # as the form has a place to put it. I guess we'll see when he attempts it. goofy.gif
