Hi,
I applied for my wife in Delhi on April 25th, 2007. After handing over the I-130 form, the agent gave me a packet 3.5 on the same day. I read in other posts that I dont have to wait for my case number. Is that true? If it is then what do I send to my local VFS office. This is what I have prepared so far. Please let me know if I need anything else.

- Applicant's Statement
- DS-2001 Notification of Applicant Readiness form
- DS-230 part 1
- My I-864 with most recent copies of my tax return
- My wife's photographs

My wife doesn't have her passport yet (she will get it in a week or so). Is it required to send in these forms at VFS office?

I'm not too familair with the I-130 process, but if its the same as the I-129F process, there is a checklist given (DS-2001 i think) that lists all the documents that need to be presented to VFS 10-15 business days before the interview; and the courier fee is paid at that time as well.

Perhaps you can get more information from the Delhi Consulate? Here is the link they have for K-1 visas, I think you can navigate and find the visa you are applying for.
