So guess what. I've finally decided to let CSC be....wasn't looking for an approval until next month. Well as I was lurking around in the K1 forum I've noticed ppl were calling USCIS to check status (only if a touch was done). So I said what the heck...cld them up followed the prompts to RFE line and voila they confirmed my petition was approved on 5/11 and will recv a notice w/in 30 days. After my last "false info" I asked "are you sure" and he was like "yes ma'am". I asked again and the rep stated laughing. He then said you filed for your husband Javon and I said yea. I was speechless so he asked if I was still there and I said yea just in shock!!!

I feel good but will feel even better once I recv the NOA2 in my hand!! They also said my case is waiting to be sent to NVC. Will check in abt 3 weeks.

And don't wait 3 weeks to check if NVC has received your file, don't waste any more time. If it was approved on 05/11, you can start calling tomorrow to see if they have it. Just follow the automated system and plug in your USCIS receipt #.

Thanks it's have been a long time indeed. Well I cld again (just to be on the safe side) and was also confirmed. I asked him why it wasnt't updated on the site and he said b/c it's in the "approval bin" waiting for the next step. I also asked if they sent me the NOA2 yet and he said no maybe within the next two weeks... Is that normal? I thought they usually send those out ASAP?

It is normal nowdays not to get your NOA2 right away. There is a whole bunch of us who were approved on 05/03 and we still haven't received it even though NVC already gave us a case # over the phone.

Thanks. I recv'd an email from CRIS this morning stating the approval notice was mailed on 5/16. When should I start calling NVC? Never mind my answer was already answered.
