Hi All-

I passed my drivers test in January of this year, i still have not received my drivers license! I was issued another tempory drivers licence a month or so back. They are saying that they are still awaiting confirmation of my legal status from immigration. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

If you have a green card, that should be confirmation enough, did you show them it?

The DMV in NYS accepts the green card as confirmation of residency status.
