After your submit your I-751, you will receive an NOA (Notice of Action) from USCIS stating that your Conditional Permanent Resident status has been extended for one year, with work and travel authorization.

If your present GC has expired by the time you apply for your driver's licence renewal, just take the NOA with you to show that you are still in status and awaiting approval of the 10-yr. GC.
