Full Version: Can I bring my father here if im on a 2 year green card

Anyone please help me, I'm here on a 2 year green card, which i will be removing the condtions and getting the 10 year card. Will I be able to bring my father here from the Philippines and if so what process should i go about it. I was thinking tourist visa and the adjust it please get back to and all your help is welcomed.

No no0pb.gif only a US Citizen can petition for a parent. This is one of the benefits of citizenship. You need to naturalize first, and can do this 3 years after getting the 2 year green card.

Can visit on a tourist visa, but cannot immigrate until you are a US citizen.
