they finally cashed my check after almost one month. I seemed to recall someone mentioned that the numbers on the check is not real receipt number (I checked both, i got two EAC # on my check, neither one turned out to be the real number). Anyway, when should I expected our notice?

We got NOA1 receipt in the mail about 7-10 days after the check was cashed.

I see you noted Guangzhou in your signature, you may want to visit and join "A Candle for Love" that site specializes in Gunagzhou and the ins and outs of the visa process through that particular consulate. The Consulate even posts to the site from time to time.

A few other things you may want to do, is put China in your profile, as well as do a timeline, it helps you and others get an idea about how long the process takes.

If you look at other people's timelines for the I751 you'll notice that the NOA1 usually shows up about one month from filing. However, there has been reports lately especially from ppl filing through Vermont that it can take more than 45 days right now.

Anyway, speedy processing! smile.gif
