I'm a bit bored while my husband is at ESOL class.

2 half, 1 boy, 1 girl, both way younger

3 half sisters and 1 half brother

I have 3 sisters - one who is 2 yrs older, one who is 2.5 yrs younger, and a half-sister (but really MY SISTER) who is 16 yrs younger.
As far as I'm concerned, half sisters/brothers are just as much sisters/brothers as the others.

Well said! I almost went back and said that! lol I am the youngest, ALL of my siblings are in their 40's and 50's!

2 brothers, one is a half brother. They are both alot older then me.

It's just me. Momma and Daddy are both gone so technically I have no blood relations left other than my daughter.

My hubby is the youngest of 4...

He has two brothers (one brother is younger then me and one brother is about 2 years or so older then me) and one sister who is the oldest of the bunch...

I just have one brother who is 15. We have the same parents, although nobody seems to believe that. My mom says it took her 8 years to get up the courage to live with a baby again after me.

One sister. She is 4 years older.

I have a sister who's 6 years younger (5 years and 10 months actually, she just turned 23 and I'll be 29 in July).

Gareth has a sister who's 2 years younger (27, well actually she's 1 year and 9 months younger I guess, her birthday's in March and his is in June) and a stepsister who's 6 years younger (so, also 23).

i have 2 brothers and 2 sisters (one of the sisters is my twin)

Wow - we have a couple of twins - that's cool.

My husband has one brother - a year older than him.

I was adopted so I have 2 bros I was raised with (ages 30 and 31), 3 half sisters from my birth mother (ages 10, 14 and 15) and a half bro from my birth father.

I am curious about the 2 people who have 6 siblings...

I'm one of the 6 sibling ppl but was only raised with 2 of them. I got in on that with a technicality.

Raised an only child. Both parents remarried, so now I have one half-sister from my mom (9), and three half-brothers from my dad (9,11,13).

I have two bio siblings...sis 3 years younger and bro 5 years younger that I was raised with.

Few years ago my dad remarried a woman with 5 children - 3 boys (20,17,14) and 2 girls (10 & 8).

Then they had 2 children together - a boy who is now 3 and a girl who turned 1 a couple months ago.

So there is 22+ years between the oldest (me) and youngest.

so most of the ones with 5 or more sibs, have blended families... interesting...

I think having a family with a lot of kids from the same mom and dad is a rarity nowadays...

My husband is the youngest of 7 full-blood siblings, but that was Morocco. You're right that you don't see it much anymore here in the U.S.

I think in the US it is a rarity these days. My birth mother is one of 8 full blooded siblings. My ex had 11 full blooded siblings (12 including him) but that's in Yemen.

just to clarify I did mean that most of the people who have voted in this poll who have 5 or more sibs come from blended families... so far anyways....

my parents had a gap of about 12 years or so between the two sets....

I have noticed that a lot. I know tons of big families but they are all blended.

I think one of the reasons that there isn't so many big families now is the advances in BC. My mom came from a family of 7 and the last 3 were all "accidents" my mom was one of the last and she is 20 years younger than her brothers. Whoops

two older brothers. both are very close in age but i am 7 years younger than the middle one! i was the only girl AND the baby... spoiled little girl!
