I just posted this question on another forum. Please offer your feedback. Thanks

The city we live in is on the boarder of two states. In less than 10 minutes we can be in a state other than where we live. My situation: The nearest approved Doctor is 20 minutes from where we live. However, when we research the approved doctors for the stae we live in, the nearest doctor is an hour away. Does it matter where the doctor is located? Does it have to be a doctor in the state we live in?

Thanks for your help

My understanding is that any approved doctor would be fine, no matter what state you are in.

THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS THAT THEY ARE APPROVED.

Well, I live in Tenn. and there are two approved civil surgeons in the city where I live. The first place I called the lady who answered was extremely rude crying.gif , so I refused to take my hubby there. The second place quoted me a ridiculous price (in the 200s, just for the vaccination supplement). So I called a place in Alabama; they were nice and reasonable and helpful (i.e. explained what the charges were for and everything; they even stayed open a little late so I could pick up the forms when they were ready). Anyway, I say all this just to say I hope it is not a problem because I went out of state when I clearly could have stayed within my own city. I will definitely let you know if any problems arise although I can't see why it would.

I just thought about something just now. Because we did the physical in Cameroon and had the "yellow" health card, they just asked for a copy of the yellow card showing he had the physical done. Did you get a letter stating that he had to do it over again?
Boaz
No letter was received. We are about to send in the paperwork for the AOS and I wanted to make sure everything is being done correctly.

Thanks!

Which clinic in Cameroon did he use? I can ask to see if it was the same one.
