We are almost finished with the NVC using the I-130 that was approved back in March. I just sent my I-864 package and now waiting on the DS-230 to be generated. One more form then it gets shipped to the Embassy in Manila.

Now I receive this letter today (like a few other VJ'ers) from the NVC stating that in one week they will forward my approved I-129F petition to Manila for processing. Should I stop this from happening? We just want our I-130 to finish its course.

I don't want the I-129F to arrive at the Embassy before the I-130 gets completed. What happens if it does? Should I email them to stop the I-129F? Do I still need the I-129F for some reason or another?

What would Visa Journey do? (WWVJD) biggrin.gif

I would continue the K-3 as well as the I-130. My buddy went through the same thing as you but then his I-130 just stopped going so smooth. I was about 1 month behind him then my wifes k-3 went through. He then picked up with the k-3 and now both of our wifes sent in their packet 3 today. he still hasn't heard anything else from the nvc. What I'm trying to say is that is that the k-3 will get her here sooner.
