Thanks but that # has no use for anyone since NSC is no longer processing family-based petitions.

I've been waiting for over a month for my K1 visa. I haven't received any notification from them and they haven't cashed my check yet. I sent a fax to this number asking for a response as to the status of my paperwork. Even with the fax I have not heard a peep from them.

Again, that's because Nebraska does not process I-129F petitions. They are fowarded to California and right now they are behind on check cashing and sending out NOA1s -- search the K1 forum and you'll see many many people in exactly the same situation. Hold tight - it will come.

p.s. the US service center doesn't give your K1 visa. They process the initial petition which is basically a request to allow your fiance the privilege of interviewing for a K1 visa in her country, once all of the paperwork has been processed, returned to the consulate and she has had her medical exam.

CSC is running behind on everything it seems. I still haven't received my NOA2 and we were approved on 05/03. They're a total nightmare. dry.gif
