Its been FOREVER since I have been on here! Hope everyone is well!

I have a question, I have been employed as the Children's Pastor at my church but they are not sure what forms I fill out being a Canadian citizen and a permanent resident and would have to call someone to find out. I thought I would do a little bit of my own questioning on here, do I fill out the IRS forms and everything a typical american citizen would fill out?
How do I go about this being a PR?

Hi and good luck in your new job!

I am working since I had a work permit and yes I filled the IRS forms, I think is a standard format or everybody.

You will fill out the same forms for the IRS as any other employee.

Hi smile.gif

All the paperwork for PR's is the same as for U.S. citizens. The only difference is, you have to write your A number on the I-9 form. But all the tax-related paperwork is the same.

You should only need to fill out the W-4, that is all Claudeth had to do.

You should complete a W-4 and an I-9
