Check out my timeline and please tell me... what do you think???

Yesterday I did over 17 letters... I sent one for each "important" person that I could think of; the president, first lady, vice president & wife, state governor, mayor, senators, house rep. & the dominican consulate!!!!

I'm going nuts!!! This wait is making me insane!!!

There isn't a lot of stats for your embassy so you can't really get a feel of what is going on there. The current stat shows 502 days from the time the petition left the NVC to an interview.

I think writing to your senator and/or congressman would be the most affective from what I have read in other posts. I don't know what the quota is for visas out of the Dominican Republic but this long of a wait just doesn't seem reasonable.

Claudeth and I with you the best of luck and hope that something happens for you soon.

From the timelines I see several in the 400-600 day range, from some of my readings in the posts The consulate in the Dominican Republic is the slowest of the consulates.

angry: I actully called my congressman and received and appointed for 15 miniutes. The appointment turned into an hour. He found the subject difficult to understand, complicated and frustrating but most importantly educational. We all need to spend more time educating lawmakers on the brutality of this complete issue.
