Our case was entered at the NVC on April 23. Roughly when should we receive our next set of forms? I emailed the NVC and asked, didnt really get a reply - only to say that both of us will receive something.

Any help would be great.

It had been recently taking about two weeks from when the case number is assigned for the choice of agent (DS-3032) and the AOS fee bill to be generated, which for you would have been this past Monday. Call NVC and use the automated IVR -- if your choice of agent and AOS fee bill were generated Monday, the IVR system would have been updated early yesterday (Tuesday) morning. If so, read the pinned Time Savers thread and the latest shortcuts at the end of the thread if you want to go ahead and create these forms yourself and mail them in (or e-mail the choice of agent to NVC).

Our case # was assigned April 19th, RichieSusie, and still no AoS bill or DS-3032 ... Slackers!

Usually it takes about 2 weeks from the case number. You should call NVC few times a day. They should generate your A)S Fee Bill and DS 3032 any moment.

I was thinking tar and feathers, but hey, finger pulling will work! yes.gif

Simple, I'm having my husband call again tomorrow ... or maybe if I feel really brave I'll do it myself later smile.gif
RichiSusie
is it the automated line you call, or do you get thru to a rep? i have only called the nvc once on this application and that was to find out that they'd entered my case #.
Erica
I've been calling the automated line. Mostly on tuesdays, cos I've been told that's when it gets updated. Of course, I'm obsessed enough to call on other days too ... you never know! wink.gif
My husband spoke to an operator once. I've yet to do that myself.

Fortunately MSN has this Windows Live Call so it costs almost nothing to call from here smile.gif

I'll let you know if I hear something ... you shouldn't be far behind good.gif

Erica,

Good Luck. I am sure you will hear the news any day from now.

Thank you smile.gif
Not today though:
I just got through to an operator and she said it's now taking two to four weeks for the AoS bill to be generated as they're very very very busy.
So, we should have some good news in the next week smile.gif

It is typical NVC dialogue. Yours is coming very soon.
Erica
RichiSusie, the NVC automated phone line just told me the DS 3032 and AoS bill are on it's way. Yours should be there just as soon smile.gif

I spoke with an operator this morning and got a stock answer that it's now taking 4 to 6 weeks for anything to happen with the cases when they're first received.

I'm starting to think there is absolutely no logic whatsoever in this process. I just read a post from Yocasta who said it took only two weeks for them to get the DS3032, it was generated on May 14th as well ... and they were approved almost three weeks after John & me.
There's hope yet, CoMelly smile.gif
