Has anyone from CSC that's been approved in March already had their petition sent to NVC? Mine was approved on March 9th and I know they say to give them 2-4 weeks to get it there, it just seems like it shouldn't take so long. If I can send something snailmail and get it to them in 2 days why does it take a month to mail something?

Because the CSC send the petitions in batches... and then it takes some time for the NVC to open their mail...

This is bureaucracy that deals with hundreds and thousands of petitions... things take time...

That's what I thought, but people that were approved days after me have been sent and are off to their embassy.

Miranda, sincerely hope that you find out something soon good.gif

Miranada - yeah Tiksman (NOA2 14 March) - his already LEFT the NVC now - ours isnt with NVC yet either - apparently, according to the automated line thingy; but who knows?
Tiksman
You cant use the automated system call 603-334-0700 and #1 for english and #2 for k visa-- I had problems getting them on the phone in the evening. They are open 7:30 am to 12:30 am eastern time.
Have your s/o name and birthday also the WAC #

I called at 8 am this morning and was told it was on the way to the embassy..

As Dennis, and Lorrell have said, Automated system at NVC are not updated to K visa/cases. You must speak to the NVC operator.

Hope all of your cases are already transferred to embassies.
