We got a message saying our application (NOA-1 11SEP06) was transferred to California (CSC) as they now have jurisdiction? I don't understand why, I haven't moved or anything. Did anyone else get transferred like this too?

Not new, the service centers transfer cases often to balance workload

Same question earlier: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...c=67307&hl=

Well hopefully California can get this knocked out quicker than VSC....I hope we don't have to get at the back of the line....what a PITA and such a broken system....

Considering how quickly CSC has been churning out approvals lately, I would say it is a good thing for you, especially if you've waited a while!

It is very normal for VSC to send petitions at CSC.

When I read this, my first impression was you were being punished. lol But actually, the last week or so CSC seemed to do pretty darn good! I hope it keeps up and I hope this transfer works out for you!
