Hi guys(j-manu if you see this please reply)

I filed my I-751 on may 2nd and got online confirmation of the receipt of the package on May 3rd.

I need to make an Infopass appointment so that I can get the I-55 stamp if I get the NOA late.

When I went to the website for scheduling the infopass, IE is blocking it saying the security certificate for the website is not valid.
http://infopass.uscis.gov/index.php
I used a different browser and was able to bypass the certificate issue, but then its asking for all the sensitive info including the date of birth, A# and the reciept #.

My question is

*1 Is it safe to give the info if the website is not secure?
*2 I can give the date of birth,A# but don't have any reciept #.Is it the same as NOA or do they send you a reciept?

Please anybody who knows about this, please answer.

Thanks and GL

A few things;

It sounds like you need to visit windows updates and select the root certificates update under optional software updates.

Give it some time, when you get the NOA1 recipt for the I-751, that letter will extend the green-card for 1 year, no stamp is needed in the passport.

Here I am.

Click on your link, then click on the top button on the left that reads: "Click here for English". On the next page you will click on the "Click Here" button next to the words: "Make your appointment with INFORPASS". Then follow the directions.

Don't set your appointment too early. The challange will be to set it close enough to your deadline for your employer.

Good luck.
