Please learn from me.......

First I forget to sign one of the cheques I sent in with my AOS package -- delayed things a couple of days.

This time I remembered to sign the cheque.......but somehow forgot to check off the appropriate box in Part 2 of Page 1 of the I-751 form.

How is this possible???????????

No wonder my darn cheque hadn't cleared my bank account yet!

I am an idiot who apparently needs glasses. *sigh*


(Interestingly enough, my entire package was sent back, bound together at the top with one of those lovely ACCO fasteners)

I am sorry they sent your paperwork back for missing a check mark.
I downloaded the form and filled it in the computer, I thought that I could save it and continue latter, but the version of my acrobat would not let me do that, even worst, I filled it and if I changed the window some information that I entered was lost and some not, I had to print it a few times and at the end reviewed every field. Good luck for your seccond try.

oh no Cassie.... But look at the bright side: at least you filed early enough to be able to send it back again within the 90 day timeframe.

I'm just kicking myself now, I was so careful to get everything and organize it and I completely forgot to check off that box. Guess I should take "detail oriented" off my resume!

I never send checks in the mail for this process. I use money orders from my bank.
which can still be tracked.
