I found this site on Monday and I have been addicted ever since. VJ is definitely a blessing.
So here is the long and short of my story (mostly long):
I am a first generation American and my parents are from Ghana. I grew up outside the US and sent my summers in Ghana since I was little so I consider myself more Ghanaian than American sometimes. I moved to the US to go to collge and after more years of schooling than I care to count I moved to the city of brotherly love...Philly!!! I love it here.
Anyways, last summer I went to Ghana with my family, as is the norm almost every summer, and was fortunate enough to be introduced to my SO, who just happens to be my cousin's good friend (don't know why I didn't meet him before
) , a week or so before I had to come back to the US. We struck up a friendship and for the last week I was there we had some pretty late night phone calls (we were in different cities). From there the rest is history. Love finds you in the strangest places.When I got back we tried talking like 3 times a week and stuff but we were kidding ourselves. Now we talk everyday and send text messages and stuff and I cannot wait to go and see him in July (yay). We have actually gathered all the info we need for the I-129F process but I forgot that I needed his letter of intent so when I get that it is gone...off my table and out the door
!!So that is my story.
