I posted this in the Canada forum too but thought I would post it here too to share the pain. smile.gif

I am so confused about the scheduling process in Montreal for the K-1 interview. Supposedly they send you a letter 2 to 4 weeks before your interview with the date. Frankly that is stupid and doesn't allow much time for planning travel especially when one of us needs to come up from the states. If you go to their web site it has a link where you can schedule an appointment. Is this the same thing as the K-1 interview? Is there a way other than calling them repeatedly to find out when and if you have an interview date scheduled? Thanks.

The link on the website is for scheduling an interview with the Non Immigrant Visa unit for visas like business visitors, students, ect.

The K-1, and K-3 visas are handled by the immigrant visa unit and they are the ones who set the interview schedule.
