Hey everyone -

Anyone have a guess as to how long after Biometrics the EAD gets approved and card sent?

Thanks again!

It took about six weeks from the time of Claudeth's EAD biometrics until she received her EAD card in the mail. Good luck good.gif

Hey everyone ---

Thanks for the quick response. To be totally blunt, it would really suck if the EAD came 2 months as I have a job contingent that I receive the EAD by the first week of July. The biometrics is on May 18th and I had heard from the date of the NOA2 receipt that this process usually takes 60 - 90 days. This whole process I guess is just very nerve-wracking for everyone. Additionally, my lawyers said on average 10 weeks from application, but I guess that's really just them being optimistic.

Thanks all for the input!

the time really depends on where you are in the 90 days, regardless of your biometrics. if your ASC has low traffic - you may have early biometrics, if your ASC is very busy you may wait awhile. the timeline for EAD approval is exactly as dr Lha shows above. 90 day rule. give or take 10 days more or less is the average, and many many many report back exactly within that timeframe.

This is so true in my experience. It was very hard to get a biometrics appointment at my ASC. I got my EAD about 1 week after my biometrics and it was then I found out that my EAD was actually approved 16 days before my biometrics (see my signature for my timeline). So, the biometrics is not really a good basis for determining when you will be getting your EAD.
