Hello everyone,
We filed for advance parole not long ago - but now we're getting worried that we won't get it until it's time to leave, so we want to postpone the date of travel. Can we change the requested dates on the advance parole application, or do we need to file again?
Thanks!

The dates you wrote down are only a suggestion. It will not affect your processing time of 90(ish) days. No need to file again but I wouldn't plan a trip until AP or your GC is in hand.

Devilette, Thanks for the answer. We'll just have to hope for the best!
Thanks again.

Your AP will be good for multiple uses (valid for one year), and it doesn't matter if you use it for the specific dates you indicated on your AP application or not.
My daughter's AP was not approved until after the first date she indicated she'd like to travel. She just used it later on, after she received her AP documents.
