It took me more than a month to compose this heh heh just kidding.

Thanks a bunch to everybody who prayed for the approval of our interview, to all visajourney members and friends who helped us in this journey.....Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat! smile.gif

I had my interview last March 12, 2007....in USE MANILA, PHILIPPINES...

So for those people who's next for the "INTERVIEW", take a glimpse and take note on some of the tips....

1) Please do not bring your cellphones, you are not allowed to enter embassy (effective March 1, 2007).

2) From the gate (gates 1 & 2), just follow the BLUE ARROW stating Immigrant, press the button where there's a wheel chair sign and it will open....

3) You have to submit the DS forms to the ticket booth on your right. Note: PLS. make sure you have completed ALL the forms to avoid delays.... The guy who got my paper's nice so he didn't question me anymore.... NOTE: You have to paste the pictures right away (2 DS-156). If they have no questions on your forms, they will give you the stub #.

4) You wait for your turn TO BE CALLED IN FINGER SCANNING. Be attentive. The NUMBER that they will give you (from the ticket booth) is the number for your interview. Tip: You listen to the instructions, don't take away your left & right index
finger unless you are asked to.

5) After the Finger Scanning, BE ATTENTIVE on the SCREENS with the RED LIGHTS....they DON'T FLASH THE # IN ORDER so anytime they will call you.
(E.G. 7002 -- 25 ) left side is your stub #, right side cubicle #

INTERVIEW WITH THE FILIPINO CONSUL: (She's quite fast)
- Name of your fiance
- How did you know your fiance?
- How long did you stay in abroad?
- What is your fiance's work?
- When was the last time you saw him?

Documents she asked from me:
- AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT
- RECENT ITR (2006)
- EMAILS
- GREETING CARDS
- NBI
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- POLICE CLEARANCE (RIYADH)
- PICTURES

INTERVIEW WITH THE US CONSUL:
- Name of your fiance?
- How did you establish the relationship?
He told me this: "This is quite complicated. You're in Saudi & he's in the US, how did you establish the relationship?" I answered that he's a high school friend of mine....blah blah
- When was the last time you saw each other?
- On the pictures: He said, "You're always in a group, where's the privacy here?" (I'd like to answer the privacy comes next after the wedding heh heh) but then I answered that it was a HS reunion and we were developed the last week of his stay blah blah....
- Does he have any plans of having a vacation?
- What is his nature of work?
- Do you know that you only have 90 days to know your fiance? I told him that I've known him since we were kids, we've known each other for 15 years....

He said to pay my visa while pulling the pink slip. I was kinda confused that time so I did ask him again.....He said m approved....... I thanked him a lot.....

COMMENTS ON THE INTERVIEW....

- You have to be very honest on the details you stated on your DS forms. In my case, I've been in other place so the Filipino interviewer did ask me about it especially my termination in HK in 2002. Why was I terminated blah blah.... How long did I stay in Saudi? What's my work....

- You have to be organized with your documents (like putting the mails in a plastics so it won't be hard for you to pull it out whenever he/she asks for it. The interview will last for only minutes.

- PRAY A LOT & BE CONFIDENT with your answers. The consul was very nice during that time. I think I did not answer excellently but then PRAYING A LOT did best during my interview. I was not even nervous during the interview. I have IMAGINED MYSELF APPROVED (I've conditioned myself a month before and read more abouT hIS wORDS) so i didn't feel surprised when I heard it. It's really an odd feeling but then it felt soooooooooo amazing.

- The interview took me just minutes but waiting time is overwhelming....We entered the gate at 6:30 a.m. M finished at 9:30 a.m.

TO ALL OF YOU GOD BLESS ON YOUR INTERVIEWS, BE OPTIMISTIC & ADD MORE PRAYERS.......
