Am i correct in saying if you arrive in the US on a k-3 and then lets say the I130 gets approved soon after arrival, you can still go back to home country and go for the IR/CR1? So what happens to the K-3.. surely you can't have 2 visa's??

I may be wrong it's just bits of info i've picked up from reading a few threads on here. thanks guys

The K3 visa will be cancelled when the immigrant visa is issued.

Readers should also recognize that there is no guarantee of the daddy visa being issued at the new interview. The standards are not the same, although it does help that you've had some more time together to build the relationship.
